About Friday (and his pal Pharoah)
Friday is a Tuxedo Cat, so called because of his black coat over his white chest and legs. There are endless combinations of black and white fur among Tuxedo Cats but, of course, Friday's combination of markings make for the most handsome cats!
Friday was born in 1995 but he still acts like the eight-month-old he was when he took up residence with his current family. Friday holds the position of Chief House Cat and he shares his duties (although somewhat grudgingly) with his second-in-command, Pharoah.
Pharoah was born in 2005. He is a Champagne Tabby. He is fast as lightning, and although Friday is bigger and more muscular, speed counts in any altercation. Friday still doesn't get it that he can't pick a fight with Pharoah and expect to win!
Friday is a people cat. Whoever visits the house has actually come to see him. He will go all out to make you feel welcome. But be warned, you ignore him at your peril! You do not want to suffer the consequences of failing to return his attentions.
Pharoah is afraid of people, with the exception of his human servant. Pharoah loves to be around Friday (although Friday does not return the sentiment). Pharoah lives to be stroked and tickled by his human servant and to curl up on the bed at night. But if any other humans enter the house he usually disappears. However, if he recognizes your voice from a previous visit, he may come out to say hello and play with his toys at a safe distance.
That's it for now.
